Mozarella Sticks & Bites

Ingredients  Required

Mozarella  Cheese =  200 to 250  gms

Incase its not easily available organize Processed Amul ,
Or any localized brand cheese block
organize either one that doesn’t melts fast in hot oil
Cheddar cheese / Amul cheese  or  Kraft cheese

Cut the Cheese into  finger sized 2 to 3 inch in length
And thickness don’t cut it too thin keep it bit thick , keep aside 


The Batter :  

Take a mixing bowl add
½  cup maida  125 gms     
½  teaspoon salt
½  cup milk  125 ml 
½  Beaten egg

Mix all this ingredients to make a Smooth thick coating batter

The Crumbs :

Seperately spread out 1 cup of Fresh Breadcrumbs on a plate to coat the Mozarella Sticks 


Method Of Preparation :

Dip the Mozarella Sticks  into the thick coating batter
Coat it from all sides
Then drop it over the breadcrumb plate roll it and seal and cover  it from all sides
Press firmly to hold the Crumbs from all sides
Then heat a deep frying vessel
Pour in atleast  ½ liter of Oil ( please Note the temperature must not be very hot )
Try and Keep it to 120 degree (Medium)
Gradually heat the Oil 


Drop These Mozarella Sticks one by one on low heat
And carefully fry them ( just for 2 to 2 ½  Minutes  )
Fry and colour them light golden brown from all sides 
Then immediately remove
( pls note if you try to over fry them the sticks will burst open oozing out all of the cheese )
Remove and serve While its still hot preferably on chopped green lettuce
Accompanied with your favourite Spicy Tomato Sauce .
