Indians Enjoy Almost Every Alternate Sunday’s
Though the curry is always made in different
style , This Particular Dish is my Favourite
Since Childhood
Its a Simple Chicken Curry East Indian Style
with Potatoes In Roasted Coconut & Onion
This Chicken
Curry is Simply flavourful and easy to
make ,
It is Roasted Ground Masala which lends flavor
and taste to the Gravy
You can Make This Chicken Curry Without Coconut Too simply skip Addition of
the Coconut

Deshi or Broiler Chicken with skin or skinless choice is yours
Chopped into small pieces , washed thoroughly
under cold water 3 to 4 times
Leave it in profirated colander to drain off all
the excess water , And leave it aside
For this Reciepe the Masala is Ground Into
Fine Paste, So please prepare the following list of
ingredients
½ Scrapped Dry Coconut Or Fresh Coconut either one
Incase you are adding Dry or Fresh Coconut

Method Of Preparation
Heat Cooking Oil in a thick bottom vessel
Add Tomato Puree to it and fry well until oil
separates
Then add the Ground Masala and fry once again
well
Then add the Ground Coconut Paste saute and fry
on low heat for about a minute
Then add Bottle Masala
Fry for some time until all ingredients catchup
and Bottle Masala flavor erupts
Only then add Chopped Chicken to it
Increase your heat and bring it to full boil
Once the chicken curry starts bubbling
Add to it required amount of water
Salt to taste as per your requirement
Then finally add diced Peeled Potatoes
Squeeze and add lemon juice to it
Cover it with lid on slow flame cook it with
some water over lid
Allow to cook and simmer on low heat , Cook until
Chicken and Potatoes is well cooked
Once you see the desired colour and consistency
of this homey dish
Remove and Garnish with Freshly Chopped Green Coriander Leaves .
This East Indian Style Chicken Curry Is Best Enjoyed with Handmade Rice Rowtys Or
Steamed Rice
But as far as my preference is concerned Steam Rice
is the Best ,because of soft Cooked Potatoes in it .
