Ingredients
500
gms Any Fish of your choice ( Pomfret ,
Kupa , Surmai , Mackreal , ive used
large Sardines/ Tarlas )
Wash
the Fish and pat dry
3 tablespoon Ghee / Oil
Pinch
of Turmeric Powder
Salt
as per taste
2
tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
2
cups of thick coconut milk
1
onion Sliced
Ground Paste :
5
Cloves of Garlic
2
tablespoon of chopped green coriander leaves
2
to 4 Green Chillies
2
tablespoon of Frithad Masala
Grind
these ingredients into mixer into fine paste adding little bit of water
Marinate
your chioce of Fish in this Green ground Masala for 15 to 20 minutes
Method Of Preparation :
Heat
a frying pan add Ghee /Oil heat until its very hot
Then
add pinch of turmeric powder to prevent
from marinating Fish from burning
Shallow
fry the Fish and let it cook on one side for 3 minutes carefully remove and set aside
Place
a fresh cooking vessel Heat Ghee / Oil
and fry 1 sliced onions till golden brown
Add
the remaining balance Green ground leftover masala saute and Fry until rawness
goes and oil separates
Add
little bit if water to make required amount of
gravy
Carefully
place your Fried Fish and let the goodness of the fish absorb into the gravy
Add
thick coconut Milk you can use even
readymade fresh milk if you want to
Add
tamarind Pulp
Required
amount of Salt
Let
the Gravy simmer on slow fire for 3 to 5 minutes
Garnish
with chopped green coriander leaves
And
serve with steamed rice or East Indian Rice
