Bambuke bombil (बांबुके बोंबील)
- One of the most delicious delicacy of Bollywood actors

Bambuke bombil - What are they? Name seems little odd right?
As per the name, "Bambuke bombil" they are the wet bombil fish or Bombay ducks which are dried on a bamboo stick or bambu (बांबू) in Hindi or Marathi languages of India. Hence the name "bambuke bombil".
This Bombay ducks are semi dried .i.e they are neither fully dried nor wet. Hence, the best season to get them is between November to March being comparatively less hot in the noon than the summer's.
This bambuke bombil were the most popular delicacy of Bolywood actors like Sunil Dutt, Sanjay Dutt while their shoot at Versova koliwada.
This bambuke bombil originally dried along the coast of Versova, Madh island, Manori gradually got popular amongst other native villages in the city.
